Hypertension affects nearly 47% of US adults, yet traditional cuff-based monitoring often fails to provide the longitudinal data required for effective treatment due to patient noncompliance and the prevalence of white coat syndrome. BioBeat addresses this clinical gap with its FDA-cleared, cuffless ambulatory blood pressure monitoring (ABPM) system, which utilizes a proprietary photoplethysmography (PPG) disposable patch to continuously capture 13 vital signs over 24 hours. By integrating real-time physiological data with patient-logged behavioral events through a cloud-based platform, the technology enables more precise medication titration and provides a high-fidelity alternative to intermittent, oscillometric testing.
